I've been working for month's now cleaning out every corner of my house and barn to finally let go of a lifetime of antiques and other collectibles that I've been storing for years. And what a "cleansing" it has been ... you will not find many sales with this many unique and beautiful things. I have hired an estate sale company out of Plymouth (www.isoldmygrandmasstuff.com) to run the event, so you can be assured that if you see something of interest on this site, you should get to the sale when the doors open because there will be a crowd! (no early birds)
Enough on all that, here are some of the items that will be available for sale on those days. I'll have to get back to you on the times.
Victorian Child's Glider Horse (Dapple Grey)(1800s)
Victorian Transitional Chandalier (valued well over $3,600)(1890s)This is from a time when electricity was very new and not always reliable. Therefore, the Chandalier was originally 1/2 gas and 1/2 electric. I've had it re-wired so it is fully electric now.
Victorian Balloon Back Chairs (2)(1800s)
Empire Country Victorian Sofa(1800s)
Winnower Coffee Table (a Winnower is an old farm tool used by hand to separate the grain from the chaff)
Hand-painted Victorian Side Table
Staffordshire Statue
Stark Needlepoint Rug (Handmade and Signed)
Baccaratt Crystal Decantur (1930s)
Cranberry Pull-down Gas Light Fixture (mid 1800s)
Stunning Hand-painted Victorian Bevelled Glass (Heart-shaped) Mirror
(This may not actually make it to the sale ... it's hopefully coming down from Maine. But if you are interested in it, let me know and I'll put you in touch with my sister. She's the one selling it!)
... and so much more!
Other fun items, that I don't yet have photos for, include:
Gorgeous Oak Fireplace Mantel (1800s) with Bevelled Mirror and Original Cast Iron Plates
Bevelled Oval Glass Oak Front Door with Crank Bell (1800s)
